Hull Rupture turrets

This is a role table, not an S-to-D ranking. Damage and fire rate were not published, so a tier column would be a guess.

Gun Turret is the panel name. A demo-era wiki maps that panel to the Machine Gun family. Treat the family label as one source from that wiki, with the version and source shown in the table.

11 rows shown. Every row below has at least one public source.

Source counts use the reviewed number of independent original accounts; links that repeat the same studio announcement or platform record do not add a source. Steam's store, news, community and APIs count as one publisher. Dated change notes describe historical evidence; they do not establish current numerical values.

What is safe to say

Long-range, short-range, Beam, and Rocket appear in devlogs or announcements. Rat arrived in v0.10.12 and turns a target into a rat. Shark is in the Steam description. Ricochet is the devlog phrase for ricocheting projectiles. Traps and barricades are also in the Steam description.

Moves are free, slow, and the turret is down while it travels. Scrap refunds resources, not the kit. Reproducer's Eyes adds Fragility to every Beam turret.

Rocket, Shark, and Traps stay in the table with a 1 source status. I am not promoting them to a recommended build.

FAQ

Which turret is best?

No public damage table exists, so this site does not rank them.

Do turrets move?

Yes, for free, slowly, and they stop shooting during the move.

What is a Fencer?

An airlock unit, named with Punishers in the first devlog, not a hull turret.
